This is the whole reason CW abbreviations exist. Sending AGN instead of spelling out “Again” cuts 36% of the airtime — 14 dot-units of keying saved every time you send it.

Meaning
AGN — Again
When this is used
Sent when copy fails. 'AGN?' is the explicit request; bare 'AGN' is a statement that you missed something. Often followed by the specific element needed: 'NAME AGN?' = 'repeat your name'.
